Prime Minister meets Russian Upper House Leader

At the meeting, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said that the Vietnamese and Russian parliaments have maintained regular contact and close coordination at inter-parliamentary forums such as the Inter-Parliamentary Union and the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly. She said the Federation Council will continue working with the National Assembly of Vietnam to push for the effective implementation of the agreements and cooperation projects of the two countries, particularly the Eurasian Economic Union Vietnam free trade agreement.

They both agreed to create favorable travel conditions for their citizens to improve their mutual understanding and friendship.
