This festival takes place from the 20th to the 23rd days of the third lunar month, commemorating Yan Po Nagar, the goddess of the country who taught local people how to grow rice, weave fabric, and raise livestock.
The festival features beautiful Chăm dances and various solemn traditional rituals of Chăm ethnic people. Tourists also have the chance to experience local culture.
Ponagar Tower in Nha Trang city is a religious architectural site built by the Cham ethnic people from the ninth to the 13th centuries and as such, the festival always attracts the participation of a lot of Cham people.
