Speaking at the meeting, Politburo member Mai spoke acknowledged and lauded efforts made by the officers and soldiers in fulling all assigns tasks by the Party, State and the Border Guard High Command, especially during the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.
On this occasion, the Party official also presented 10 gifts to 10 children living in difficult circumstances in Thanh Loa.
The Border Guard High Command and the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee also presented gifts to the Thanh Loa Border Guard as well as 10 needy households in the commune.
Needy pupils in the locality also received 50 gifts worth VND50 million from the National Fund for Vietnamese Children.
In addition, the Ministry of Health donated medical supplies and basic necessities worth VND270 million to soldiers of Thanh Loa Border Guard who are on the front lines of the fight against the COVID-19 epidemic.
