He said that he and the Government need the Economic Advisory Group to come up with solutions to cope with changes in trade around the world, as well as solutions to issue more appropriate and timely policies.
Aside from short-term policies, the Prime Minister also needs solutions for medium and long-term issues / such as the aging population and the middle-income trap.
The Prime Minister emphasized that he has always listened to the advice of intellectuals both at home and abroad. In addition, the Group also needs to propose policies because the Prime Minister is always interested in hearing experts' opinions to consolidate ideas for policy-making not just for this year but also for the years to come.
