Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc has just tasked the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to work with the People's committees of provinces and cities in the Mekong Delta to look for a solution to develop regional tourism.
The directive was announced after the media and press recently commented that tourism products and services in the Mekong Delta haven't made a deep impression, and are mainly the same for every location.
The local authorities haven't done much to promote typical tourism products.
