Talking with constituents from Do Son, An Lao, Tien Lang, and Vinh Bao districts, the PM confirmed he would do his utmost to improve national socio-economic management and continue building and promulgating new policies to increase labour productivity whilst facilitating business operations.
The Government will make every effort to control public debt and handle bad debts while curbing inflation and promoting the building of new-style rural areas to improve farmers’ living standards, he said, adding that measures will be taken to reduce poverty in a sustainable manner and uphold cultural identities.
In the foreseeable future, it is necessary to enact solutions to cope with climate change and address the consequences of the drought currently affecting central Vietnam and the Central Highlands, saltwater intrusion in the southwestern region, and the massive fish deaths in the central region, he stressed.
The Government will pay special attention to ensuring food safety and hygiene, guaranteeing public healthcare, reforming institution and helping business to remove difficulties for the sake of the country’s socio-economic development, he added.
As part of his tour to the northern port city, the PM held talks with teachers and students of Hai Phong University, during which he urged the university to improve education-training quality.
