Visiting the Da Lat Diocese, the Deputy PM spoke highly of the contributions of Vietnamese Catholics to the country’s achievements in containing COVID-19 and maintaining economic growth in 2020.
He expressed his hope that local Catholic dignitaries and followers will continue promoting solidarity while furthercontributing to the nation’s development.
On the same day, Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh also visited and extended Christmas greetings to the Evangelical Church of Vietnam (South) in Lam Dong Province.
He appreciated contributions by pastors, dignitaries, and followers of the Church to national development, and voiced his hope that Protestants will continue to lead a good secular and religious life and help with national construction.
The Deputy PM also asked authorities at all levels in Lam Dong to do more to facilitate religions in the province to promote their traditions and contribute to the great national unity bloc.
