The committee’s report reviewed achievements since the previous session and praised better co-operation between agencies in anti-corruption work. Addressing the closing session, Party leader Nguyen Phu Trong appreciated progress in institutional reform and legislation. He asked relevant agencies to promote co-operative mechanisms, law enforcement, and communications on laws and regulations. The party leader agreed on future trials of major corruption cases and praised the role played by the media in pushing the anti-corruption message.
