During the fiercest years of the resistance war against America, from 1967 to 1973, a young artist passionately recorded the beauty of people and landscapes of northern Vietnam during the war. Despite being drawn half a century ago, painter Le Duc Biet's sketches are still intact. His work depicts a fierce time of war but is still full of optimism, joy, happiness and a desire for peace.
The photo book, which compiles Le Duc Biet's wartime sketches will be published in December, on the 75th anniversary of the Vietnam's people's army.
