VTV.vn - Somsak Chaituch, a well-known Thai painter, launched his exhibition named ‘Dreamland’ at Ho Chi Minh City Fine Art Museum, on April 4.

Coming to the exhibition "Dreamland", the visitors will have an opportunity to contemplate Somsak’s 42 latest works.

The “Dreamland” shows his excellent colour sensing ability. The works feature the beauty of nature alongside the sparkling colour that once appeared in the artist's dream. The artist painted the summer flower fields in an impressive abstract style drawing inspiration from both East and West. Some of Somsak's other works bring a feeling of winter coming with the last leaves changing color as if to say goodbye to the summer.

Through works at the exhibition the viewers can experience the wonderful composition and feel warmth through the contours of colours woven into each other constantly. This is considered to be the unique feature of Somsak.

It seems that Somsak's paintings are music for the eyes. The warmth and the traditional are combined into one melody which has brought impressive beauty in Somsak paintings.

The exhibition runs until April 12.
