Old quarter litterbugs to face fines

VTV.vn - The Hanoi Urban Environment Company has been cooperating with the Hoan Kiem District People's Committee in Hanoi to implement a pilot program installing cameras to film people littering on the pedestrian mall around the Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. The pilot program has generated positive results.

Many places in Hanoi are flooded with garbage and plastic bags. The Hoan Kiem District People's Committee plans to carry out their program in many districts of Hanoi and install more anti-littering signs along main roads.
