Tân Sơn Nhất airport operated 25% more flights than usual, while Nội Bài recorded a 30% increase from last week. Roads leading to both airports suffered hours-long congestion.
From now until May 4, an estimated 700 flights will depart and arrive at Tan Son Nhat each day, while more than 410 domestic flights will take off from and land at Nội Bài.
