Ninh Thuan hosts international kiteboard event
VTV.vn - The International Kiteboarding Association (IKA) of the International Sailing Federation has chosen Ninh Chu Bay in the south-central province of Ninh Thuan to hold its Kiteboard Tour Asia 2016 Championship.
The event has drawn 82 riders from 40 countries and territories worldwide, with 18 from Vietnam. Viet Nam has been chosen as one of three countries to hold the Kiteboard Championship, besides Thailand and China. As host of the event, Ninh Thuan will have the chance to develop marine sports in the province. In addition, the event will strengthen international exchange in Vietnam.
