The festival aims to promote Ninh Thuan and introduce local specialties. It will also provide opportunities for grape farmers, businesses and consumers to meet.
According to Ninh Thuan Director of Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Chau Thanh Hai, the festival will be held at the same time as the annual Kate Festival of the Cham people, which also aims to promote the culture of the Cham following Brahmanism.
Seminars will also be held to call for support from foreign embassies and international organisations to ensure that the Cham Towers and the Kate Festival are recognised by UNESCO.
