VTV.vn - A new form of virus has recently emerged in Facebook, aiming to steal user accounts. So far, 3,000 Facebook users in Vietnam have been affected, according to BKAV, a local software corporation.

Unlike link spam or toxic apps, the new virus is disguised as a notification which informs the facebook users that they are tagged in a comment. When people click on the notification, the viruscan immediately access all their account information and repeat the process on their friend list.

According to BKAV, the virus could have possibly originated from Vietnam. To protect Facebook accounts, users are advised to promptly change passwords as soon as they notice suspicious signs of a virus.
