VTV.vn - Ho Chi Minh City National Assembly Deputy Nguyen Ngoc Hoa raised a problem that the local agriculture industry is now facing.

How can Vietnamese farmers compete with other foreign competitors right in the domestic market?

"Will Vietnamese agriculture lose when entering the Trans-Pacific Partnership?" - Nguyen Ngoc Hoa, National Assembly Deputy Ho Chi Minh City.

The Minister of Industry and Trade Vũ Huy Hoàng stated that the Trans-Pacific Partnership could be a huge opportunity of local garment and textile sector. He also stressed that requiring Vietnamese’s partners to open its door is now a must.

"Almost all of our partners accept Vietnam’s key items, including garments and textiles. The US will spare some preferential conditions for Vietnamese goods. This is a good opportunity for us to raise our localisation rate and improve our support industries. We can’t continue to rely on imports like this." - Vu Huy Hoang, Minister of Industry and Trade.

In response to concerns about a possible real estate bubble, Minister of Construction Trịnh Đình Dũng claimed there were no reasons for concern.

"The real estate market has recently warmed up, with some signs of speculation and many real estate projects being launched. Many people thought that these are signs of a new real estate bubble. But experts have pointed out that a bubble will only happen based on the following conditions: an unstable economy with over-supply and a market without government involvement. These conditions, however, aren’t happening in Vietnam. So the belief there is a bubble is currently groundless." - Trinh Dinh Dung, Minister of Construction.

Also during the query, Minister of Transport stated that the expansion of the Highway 1 through Quang Nam Province was still under the strict supervision of the central government.
