VTV.vn - Nearly 280 Vietnamese citizens were brought home from Romania, Poland and some nearby European countries on July 21-22, under the coordination between authorised agencies of Vietnam and Vietnamese representative agencies.

The passengers included children under 18, people with illnesses, elderly people, students who have completed their studies and faced accommodation difficulties, and short-term visitors and workers with expired visas or working contracts.

Disease prevention measures were carried out during the flight. Upon landing at the Da Nang Airport, the passengers received health check-ups and were sent to quarantine centres in line with regulations.

Based on citizens’ wishes, the local quarantine capacity as well as the pandemic’s developments, authorities and airlines will continue to conduct flights to repatriate more Vietnamese citizens in the time ahead.
