National Assembly and the UNDP tighten links

At the meeting, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan requested that the UN and UNDP continue to provide technical support and consultation for NA agencies in research into legislative experiences in other countries. UN Resident Co-ordinator Pratibha Mehta said that Vietnam has made great efforts in realising the Millennium Development Goals and sustainable development goals. The UN wants to continue co-operation with the National Assembly on the promotion of gender equality, climate change mitigation and capability enhancement among the National Assembly’s agencies.
