At the discussion, a number of deputies noted disappointment at the fact that the 2017 legislative agenda has yet to include content regarding the overview of laws related to enterprises and investment environment. These laws are currently barriers to enterprises, creating limitations to economic growth. The 2017 agenda is also expected to not include a number of laws previously discussed, such as the Law on public demonstrations or the Law on ethnic groups. Earlier on Monday, the Legislative Committee of the 14th National Assembly also convened its first plenary meeting.
