Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc urged ministries and local departments to prepare their reports on the implementation of the law. The deputy minister insisted that the review must be done efficiently and effectively, contributing to promoting democracy, creativity and enhancing the role of ministries, sectors, localities, agencies and organisations in fighting corruption. The deputy prime minister also called on officials to propose effective anti-corruption and thrift measures, and an assessment of the implementation of the National Anti-Corruption Strategy until 2020. As scheduled, the conference to review the decade of the Anti-Corruption Law’s implementation is slated for March 31st 2016.
