As part of the working session, deputies discussed the draft Law on Access to Information.
The NA Standing Committee proposed it was necessary to make clear which information of the State should be made available or withheld from the public. Publicized information will include information on government procurements, land use, and urban planning.
The Committee also required related agencies to review essential information and its impacts on the lives of the people, as well as ensure information availability, transparency, and feasibility. Procedures and time for providing information to the public should also be simplified to allow easier access to information.
