VTV.vn - : National Assembly deputies on Monday discussed the implementation of Vietnam's socio-economic development plans and focused on ways to complete the socio-economic tasks set for 2015.

A number of deputies at the session commented that while they welcomed the government and National Assembly’s directions in terms of policies, they believed that implementation has been sub-par in many areas.

Agricultural restructuring was also high on the agenda of the Monday session. Deputies proposed that the government should implement plans to promote agricultural restructuring, and support enterprises to invest more in agriculture.

“The government needs to reform administrative procedures even more and create a fair competitive environment. There should be specific policies for each type of business”, said Phan Van Quy - NA deputy, Nghe An Province.

At the session, the overall consensus was that despite the positive results shown in the government's report, challenges in the global and national economies still remain, and these need to be tackled in a comprehensive way.
