At meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to establishing more effective co-operation in many fields, including textiles, garments, agriculture, and oil and gas.
PM Nguyen Tan Dung underlined the need to promote trade and expand co-operation in agriculture, healthcare, education and construction. The Algerian Prime Minister said Algeria would welcome Vietnamese agricultural firms and experts to implement their projects in Algeria. He said the country was committed to facilitating trade and other co-operation in the housing sector.
Moreover, PM Nguyen Tan Dung said he would ensure there was more support for Petro Vietnam to expand its current oil project in Algeria. Through Algeria, Vietnam can access further into the African market and through Vietnam, Algeria can enter the Southeast Asian market.
