Featured artists include Vietnam's reggae-hip hop inspired group DaLab and indie favourites Ngot along with a range of other domestic and international pop, rock, jazz and electronic artists.
The three-day event will take place from 10th to 12th November at the Thang Long Citadel in Hanoi.
The MMF 2017 also aims to raise public awareness of traffic safety, with several activities being held on walking streets around Hoan Kiem lake.
Since its debut in 2014, MMF has attracted thousands of music lovers from Vietnam and abroad thanks to its diverse music. Some big international names have performed at MMF, including the all-female Australian/British string quartet Bond, Grammy-winning soul singer Joss Stone and German rock band Scorpions.
The festival also aims to introduce new music projects and allow different generations to share their passion for music in the space of a world cultural heritage, the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long.
