At the meetings, the Vice State President expressed her hope that Finland would share experience with Vietnam in finance, tourism, and support for SMEs, and asked for more scholarships for Vietnamese students, as well as more co-operation in the education sector.
In their response, the two ministers said Vietnam was one of the priority countries for the Finnish government.
On the same day, the Vice State President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh also met with the leaders of several large Finnish organizations and businesses, including the funding agency for technology and innovation Tekes, the Finnish Meteorological Institute, Kone Corporation and Nokia.
