This technology has been applied to the construction project of Vinh Son - Song Hinh Hydropower Tunnel in Kon Tum. The new technology reduces the risk of destruction to the geology. Construction times were also reduced from 9 to two and half years. The Kon Tum hydropower plant will enter operation at the end of 2018.
