The council deputies requested the the city people's committee to report on plans to renovate old apartment buildings and the use of cars for officials. Deputies proposed to create incentives for investors to renovate old apartment buildings in unpopular locations. Regarding the use of cars for officials, deputies suggested to provide financial allowances for officials to use their own vehicles to ease the burden on the city’s budget. This session will also consider the dismissal of deputy Nguyen Thi Nguyet Huong since she failed to declare her joint Maltese nationality and overseas assets.
