Ministry to invest in Tra fish Centre

The centre will be organized under the public private partnership model in An Giang province. The ministry said that it would handover management to the Directorate of Fisheries and the Hung Vuong Aquaculture Group to set up a production chain and provide high-quality breed supply for the center.

The centre is expected to provide tra fish breeds to farmers at prices 40 to 60% lower than market prices. In 2017, the ministry set the target of providing 5 billion tra fish to the market.
