The team is expected to focus on prominent annual festivals like the Dong Da festival or the Huong pagoda festival.
Plans for the inspections were drafted by the City's department of Culture, Sports and Tourism at the beginning of December 2016. The department is particularly focused on large-scale festivals organized over long periods of time, or festivals that have faced problems in previous years. The city has also asked all related departments and agencies at city and district levels to monitor and penalize cases of price hikes or theft.
