Minimum wage to rise by 5.3% in 2019

VTV.vn - The National Salary Council held its third meeting to discuss raising regional minimum wages in 2019.

After intense debate and a vote, the increased rate was set at 5.3%. The rapid growth of the minimum wage fulfills 93% of the minimum living standard and is expected to meet about 96% of the minimum living standard of workers in 2019.
