This is the first time the forum has been organized by the Merck Group / in collaboration with Sang Pharma in Vietnam. The forum focused on using technology and scientific products to care for patients with diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, and thyroid disorders.
Currently, more than 70% of deaths worldwide are caused by non-communicable diseases / such as heart disease, stroke, cancer, and diabetes with diabetes being the most fatal. Vietnam is one of the Asian countries with the highest rate of diabetes (5.5% of the population aged 20-79) / and pre-diabetes (13.7%). This year's forum will provide a platform for sharing experiences in the prevention and treatment of diseases among leading experts around the world.
