He also pointed out opportunities and challenges that the 'fourth industrial revolution' was bringing to the Mekong region's development. Prime Minister Phuc said development partners rated the host country's agenda as practical and called for major projects to link countries.
Also on the same day, national leaders of the four countries attending the 8th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Summit issued a joint statement to enhance co-operation for the peace, stability, and prosperity of the sub-region and narrow the development gap with other ASEAN members.
