Speaking at a conference on logistics investment in the region on Monday Jan 9th, the deputy prime minister asked localities to focus on promoting economic growth, creating incentives to enterprises, and building sound administrations to ensure rapid and sustainable growth.
He asked ministries of industry and trade, transport, and planning and investment to facilitate the development of logistics services.
A number of co-operative agreements were signed at the conference. Trade in goods through the Mekong Delta is expected to reach 71 million tonnes by 2030.
