In An Giang Province, flooding has affected nearly 30,000 hectares of rice. In Long An, the flooding has submerged thousands of hectares of rice. Tân Hưng District is the locality most affected by the flooding, with nearly 3,500 hectares under water. If the flood continues to rise, 7,800 hectares of rice in the district will be affected. In Trà Vinh Province, heavy rain has damaged 5,000 hectares of rice. Many fields are completely submerged and can't be harvested. In Kiên Giang Province, 1,600 hectares of rice is completely damaged, mostly in Tân Hiệp, Giang Thành and Giồng Riêng districts.
