Mekong Delta faces serious coastal erosion
VTV.vn - According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Mekong Delta currently has 562 areas facing coastal erosion.
Not only are there more areas of erosion but the scale is expanding. This situation is troubling for both local people and authorities. Coastal erosion in the Mekong Delta has reached alarming levels, with large areas of the coast and protective forest disappearing quickly and thousands of households are under threat.
