The exclusive free-to-air broadcast of the tournament and the licensing to other broadcasters was announced a few days ago by VTV. The licensee broadcasters have to carry the matches respecting the integrity of the program. VTV also denied rumors that the station only acquired free-to-air broadcast rights while the rights to transmit in other platforms are left to other operators.
Thus, the Vietnamese football fans will be able to watch all live matches of the AFF Cup 2018 on VTV6 channel as well as the sideline programs.
