Malaysia arrests 6 people for spreading fake news about coronavirus

VTV.vn - At least six people have been detained in Malaysia for spreading false or fake news about the novel coronavirus.

Earlier, several Malaysians uploaded fake news to a social network which described the coronavirus as "causing victims to act like zombies." These people also spread false information regarding the death toll and the number of infected people. Malaysia's health ministry later dismissed the rumours in a tweet.
