In China, on Monday alone, 157 cases were released from hospitals after successful treatment, bringing the total number of cured patients to 632.
However, a second death outside mainland China due to the coronavirus was recorded in the special administrative region of Hong Kong, which was the first death there.
The patient was male, 39 years old, who started showing fever symptoms on January 31st after returning to Hong Kong from Wuhan via high-speed rail.
