VTV.vn - Vitafoods Asia 2026 has successfully cemented its status as a strategic launchpad for the global health and nutrition industry, paving new pathways for regional and international cooperation.

Driven by a global surge in demand for preventive healthcare, healthy ageing, and longevity, the health and nutrition sector has officially entered a new era. Vitafoods Asia 2026—held from September 2 to 4 across Halls 1–3 and 5–7 of the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center—proved to be far more than a conventional trade marketplace; it served as a global epicenter for innovation, business, and international collaboration.

Spanning over 20,000 square meters, the three-day exhibition brought together more than 800 companies from 40 countries, featured over 10 international pavilions, and welcomed more than 16,000 visitors worldwide. The event vividly showcased the modern supply chain ecosystem, bridging raw ingredients, advanced technologies, and consumer-ready products.

Bringing the global supply chain closer to home

Reflecting on the event's success, Mr. Manu Leopairote, Chairman of Informa Markets (Thailand), emphasized that Vitafoods Asia 2026 went well beyond product displays, offering a strategic platform to elevate the region's position in the dietary supplement supply chain.

"Hosting Vitafoods Asia in Thailand was akin to bringing the supply chain hub home," Mr. Manu stated. "It empowered regional businesses to transition from buyers to OEM/ODM manufacturers, connect directly with global technology developers, and access upstream ingredients from around the world."

The exhibition successfully paved the way for high-potential regional extracts and herbs—such as black ginger, turmeric, and gotu kola—to access international markets. Furthermore, it assisted businesses in navigating complex regulatory standards while connecting the wider ecosystem spanning manufacturing, R&D, trade, logistics, and wellness tourism.

Longevity reshapes the supplement market

Ms. Rungphech Chitanuwat, Regional Portfolio Director – ASEAN at Informa Markets, said the rise of Longevity and Healthy Ageing is fundamentally changing the role of dietary supplements, as consumers increasingly incorporate health and nutrition into their everyday lifestyles.

According to Ms. Chitanuwat, industry players must continuously outpace evolving consumer expectations by closely tracking emerging trends. Vitafoods Asia 2026 successfully served as the ultimate catalyst, bringing global knowledge, cutting-edge technologies, and strategic partnerships under one roof.

By concluding on a high note, Vitafoods Asia 2026 not only reinforced Thailand’s ambition to become Asia’s premier hub for health food and extract innovation, but also marked a milestone era for the global nutrition industry rooted in proactive prevention.
