After a 3-year break due to the effects of the COVID-19 epidemic, the Vietnam Robot Contest - Robocon Vietnam is officially organized again. The final round of Robocon Vietnam 2023 will be held in Nam Dinh City from May 23 to 28. The winning team will represent Vietnam in the ABU Robocon 2023 competition to be held in Cambodia in August 2023.
In the final round, 32 teams were divided into 8 groups, each group consisting of 4 teams playing in a round robin format.
On the afternoon of May 21, representatives of 32 teams participating in the final round of the Vietnam Robot Innovation Competition - Robocon Vietnam 2023 were present at the Meeting Hall of Nam Dinh Sports Palace to receive instructions on the specific schedule of the competition day as well as explanation of the referee's signals on the field. The teams will be drawn in order according to the principle that teams from the same school will not be in the same group, and the schools with the most teams in the final round will be drawn first.
On the morning of May 22, the teams had a practice session to get used to the field before competing in the national final round.
Tonight (May 23), the final round of Robocon Vietnam 2023 will be officially opened. The opening ceremony will be broadcast live on VTV2 at 20:00. Immediately after, the competition of teams in 2 groups A and B will start.
The remaining matches in Groups C, D, E, F, G, H and the Round of 16 will be broadcast live on VTV2 at 20:30 from May 24 to 27.
The quarterfinals and the award ceremony will be broadcast live on May 28 at 20:10 on VTV1.
