The Ministries of Home Affairs of Vietnam and Laos have organised a number of joint activities and exchanged delegations as part of co-operation programme for the 2016-2020 period signed in 2016.
The Vietnamese ministry have provided training for officials of the Lao National Archives Department. In addition, many Lao officials and students have received training in Vietnam.
Minister Khamman Sounvileuth stressed that bilateral co-operation between the two sides in recent years is very important to Laos. He also suggested that the two sides keep sharing experiences and training to improve the effectiveness of the administrative system of both countries.
