Landslide kills two in Lao Cai province
VTV.vn - A sudden landslide killed two people traveling on a road in Bao Yen district, Lao Cai Province. Lương Thanh Thưởng was riding his motorbike with his grandmother from Nghĩa Đô to Bắc Hà district.
While on the road, large rocks slid down from a 25-meter hill and buried both victims. After more than an hour of digging, rescue forces found the bodies of the two victims. The landslide was due to the area experiencing prolonged rains, leading to a weak land structure.
