The plant has a capacity of 29MW and received a total investment of over 1 trillion VND (43 million USD). The construction of the plant commenced in December 2018 and was completed in late 2021.
During its construction, the project created jobs for hundreds of local workers while investing tens of billions of Vietnamese dong into building schools and roads for the locals in Pa Ve Su Commune.
After being put into operation, the project will continue to create long-term jobs for more than 20 local workers with a stable income while contributing tens of billions of Vietnamese dong to the local budget each year.
Nam Xi Lung Hydroelectric JSC was approved for investment in building three hydroelectric power plants with a total capacity of 90MW and a total investment of 3 trillion VND on Nam Xi Lung Stream in Pa Ve SuCommune.
Upon the completion of the three plants, they are expected to contribute about 70 billion VND to the local budget each year.
