Kien Giang loses 500 hectares of protection forests

This area was where the protection forests of the western coast of the region used to be. An Biên and An Minh are the two most affected districts. Without the protection forests, coastal erosion is getting more and more serious. In some areas, the waves have even reached the military dike, heavily affecting 500 households on the western coast of Kien Giang province.
