The Road 9 - Khe Sanh campaign ended successfully and Huong Hoa district was liberated. It was the first large-scale cooperative military campaign of the People's Army of Vietnam, with many troops and various units of the armed forces that could take down the US defense. The victory at Khe Sanh made an important contribution to the war against America.
