VTV.vn - Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Friday that the government would increase more pressure on North Korea, in his first policy speech to the parliament after being re-elected as premier earlier this month.

During the 39-day special Diet session that runs through December 9, the PM confirmed to make North Korea change its policies by further strengthening pressure on North Korea along with the international community. He also vowed to beef up Japan's defense capabilities, including missile defense. The PM also said he wants to deepen cooperation with China and South Korea by holding a trilateral summit as soon as possible.
