Japan pilots clean vegetable production in Binh Dinh

VTV.vn - ​For the first time, an organic vegetable production project has been carried out in central Vietnam by a Japanese company.

For first step of the project, 3000 square meters of organic vegetables will be grown in Nhon Hau Commune, An Nhin Town, Binh Dinh Province. Japanese Kei JSC is the investor of this project. It's worth 3.5 billion Japanese Yen. In the last 2 months, experienced farmers in Nhon Hau Commune have been given instructions on clean farming techniques by Japanese experts. Currently, 13 varieties of vegetables are being imported from Japan for planting. Experts will determine which varieties can best adapt to the local natural conditions after the first step of the project is complete.
