These are the recommendations put forth by Vietnam during the second day of the Interpol Conference in Bali, Indonesia.
At the meeting, the Vietnamese delegation stated that the development of artificial intelligence, robots, the internet and wireless technology is creating great benefits but also posing many challenges to law enforcement. Cyber criminals are becoming more sophisticated with new methods and are creating connections beyond national borders.
All of these challenges require tighter cooperation among Interpol members and Vietnam affirmed its willingness to contribute. Vietnam proposed five measures to cope with cyber criminals, which emphasize building cooperation and trust among members, sharing information and enhancing crime prevention and prediction capabilities.
Cyber crime is one of three main topics at the ongoing Interpol Conference. The four-day event will determine security challenges and prevention strategies.
