Hosted by the municipal Youth Union, the summer camp attracted the participation of 205 children and 41 officials in charge of the children and youth's work from Cambodia and Laos, as well as those from HCM City and Vietnamese localities bordering the two neighbouring nations.
Delegates offered incense and flowers to late President Ho Chi Minh at the HCM City Children's House. They will join visits to prominent destinations in the city, such as Ho Chi Minh Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels Historic Site, Asia's largest educational city – Vietopia and Artinus 3D Art Museum, as well as joining the city’s river bus journeys and enjoying panoramic view of the whole city from the Bitexco building.

According to Phan Thi Thanh Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the HCM City Youth Union and Head of the Organising Committee, the biennial event aims to tighten international solidarity and friendship, while creating exchange and learning opportunities for the children of the three countries.
The exchange programme will last until August 4.
