Modi is on a five-day visit to three ASEAN nations, starting from Indonesia, followed by Singapore and Malaysia as a part of his Act-East policy. He said the visit is to enhance India's relations and engagements with all the three countries, which forms Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
After meetings with the Indonesian leaders and business delegation, Modi is scheduled to take a brief stopover at Kuala Lumpur on Thursday on his way to Singapore. While it will be Prime Minister Modi's first visit to Indonesia, it will be his third to Singapore.
